Happy New Year!
Heres a thought. Not so long ago the thought of chocolate pudding enbedded images of steamed pudding with chocolate sauce/chocolate moose/chocolate fudge cake, and from what I can remember we were all happy with that weren't we? So why oh why are we now saturated with chocolate puddings that have uncooked middles. Everywhere you go its melt in the middle or fondant or some other way of saying 'yes, this was very bloody tricky to make'. BUT WHY! Really why? I understand sunblushed/dried tomatoes those 'little pieces of heaven' deserved all the hype that surrounded them, even balsamic is understandable who knew you could put vinegar on strawberries and enjoy it! This chocolate nonsense for me is a step too far. It seems nonsensical to want to make something that you know is going to be really bloody hard to cook and even when you do manage to make it and cook it perfectly it can still go wrong. In my view we would all be better off sticking to eating a crunchie maximum pleasure minimum effort especially if you make peter go and get it for you.
I have a feeling that amount of food based posts may increase as this pregnancy progresses.
